Kellie Martin is an American film and television actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. She is also known for playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin's acting journey began at the age of 7 when an aunt, a former nanny who cared for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a actor in the film of the same name, 'Father Murphy.' After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more seriously. She was able to land important roles in television and the big screen.
